New publication from TTM1 - Serum Tau

09 November 2017

Published in this month's Annals of Neurology, Niklas Mattsson and colleagues measured the neuronal protein tau as a predictor of neurological outcome after cardiac arrest. Results seem to indicate that Tau improves outcome prediction compared to NSE, which is the currently recommended by guidelines. There was no difference in serum tau levels between patients managed at 33°C or 36°C. We are looking forward to validating these results in TTM2.
